Uganda’s $10 Billion Oil Deal sealed -The Limelight

This week the government of Uganda and French oil company Total energies and other investment partners passed a Final investment decision worth over 10 billion USD to produce Ugandas oil discoveries and build a pipeline that will turn Uganda into a significant crude oil producer. This decision is a key step in Ugandas oil prospects and productions is expected to start in 2025. At its peak, the production output of Uganda is expected to be more than 200,000 barrels of oil per day and this is expected to bring in at list 2 billion USD every year in taxes and royalties. Hon.
