Profile Summary

Charlotte is a Senior Associate at Kampala Associated Advocates and part of the Commercial Transactions, Oil & Gas and Tax Departments. She is a graduate of Makerere University, where she served as Speaker of the Law Society and is currently an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all courts subordinate. She is currently pursuing a post graduate diploma in Tax and Revenue Administration at the East African School of Taxation.

Charlotte has extensive knowledge of insolvency practice, intellectual property, oil and gas laws collective investment schemes / Unit Trust Funds, private equity and corporate compliance, having worked on various instructions in the said fields. She has advised on numerous commercial, corporate and day-to-day oil and gas matters.

Additionally, she has experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as general administration of companies. She serves as company secretary to various companies and has vast experience in a wide range of company issues spanning across formation, corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, trademarks, taxation, labour laws and insolvency.
