Restructuring

We have an experienced and agile team that is dedicated to receivership, administration, liquidation, corporate insolvency, restructuring, and an experienced team of professional collectors working exclusively on debt recovery matters.

For many companies confronted by business challenges, the path to financial viability – through court or not – can be convoluted. The legal know-how required and the multitude and variety of actors involved make bankruptcy and restructuring a rather complex affair. Our restructuring attorneys are adept at transactional work and litigation across a range of areas like Mergers &Acquisitions, securities, banking, labor and employment law, environment, tax and Intellectual Property, investigations and asset tracing.

Our team believes and operates on the core philosophy that every business ought to be given an opportunity to retain its value by helping it weather the storm. Restructuring is a type of corporate action taken that involves significantly modifying the debt, operations or structure of a company as a way of limiting financial harm and improving the business. Our actions are intended to create value for all the stakeholders, debtors and creditors alike.

Steering clients through the various debt management processes and stages, often requires a creative and innovative approach. Our team focuses on the commercial aspects of the corporate insolvency, receivership and restructuring and become a counselor to clients. We help our clients to go from a place of trauma to a place of strength.

In addition to helping debt stressed companies, our experienced team supports Companies to restructure in preparing for a sale, buyout, merger, change in overall goals, or transfer of ownership.

When the sometimes challenging process of restructuring ends, the company should ideally be left with smoother, more economically sound business operations.
